Typography is a live and breathing beast, its’ heart beating rhythmically to the sound of language. To represent this vital part of design, Andreas created a scientific model of the letter “A” with a constant mechanical heartbeat.

Papercraft Castle by Wataru Witou
This folded paper masterwork took Wataru four years to complete and while the ferris wheel doesn’t spin, there is a moving paper train, which kind of makes me wish I could become a paper person, fold myself up, and live here.

These landscapes look like rocky crags from some desolate mountain range, but they’re actually visualized bits of randomized data.
They were created by a guy named Andreas Nicolas Fischer, a Berlin based artist who “concerns himself with the physical manifestation of digital processes and data through generative systems to create sculptures, videos, prints and installations.”
Time Slice Photos of New York City by Richard Silver
Richard’s series were originally shot from a lower perspective intending to capture as much of the sexy-edged architecture of New York skyscrapers as possible. Out of this desire, however, his project evolved to include time-lapse slices of the building throughout the day, capturing more than just the sheer mass of the looming colossi, but different times of them as well, all encompassed in one singular photo. For the purpose of full disclosure, Richard posts the exact times, down to the second, that each slice of photo was taken at, so each picture becomes a story about a day in the life of a stationary giant.

Floating Mountaintop Castle by Ahmet Ogut
For the Belgian Art Festival TRACK in Ghent, Ahmet recreated the town’s historic public arts compelx on a giant, inflatable floating rock in homage to ”La Chateau des Pyrenees” by Rene Magritte.
