Featuring Iron Man and Batman.

Such a powerful moment in comics.
I never thought I’d see anything like it.

Joe Simon, co-creator of Captain America Dead at 98.
The man who gave life to the Marvel Universe natural leader, to The Avenger’s frontman, the man who created the star spangled super-hero, left us this past Wednesday after a brief battle with illness, his greatest contribution will live on forever on the pages of Marvel Comics, his talent will be missed.

New releases from MARVEL Comics for the week of November 14th 2011.

You know DEADPOOL (or anything with him in it) gets the top spot, but there are some other interesting issues seeing the light of day this week so check em out!

My pick for best cover goes to the Thor/Silver Surfer homage on Amazing Spider-Man #674.

MARVEL.COM has more info about the rest of the awesomeness released this week so head on over and have a look.

The Death of the Silver Surfer. Sorry it is such a large post, but it is one of my favorite set of pages out of any comic. Super sad, but also uplifting. Anytime Galactus is involved, shit gets real.

For some reason, the first two images won’t fix themselves to be in the right order. So when viewing them images in the image-viewer, read the second page and then the first, and then skip back over to the third and continue on.
