Looking back, I had a lot of goals that didn’t seem quite as daunting as they do now.
Writing a novel before 20.
Traveling around the world to ancient ruins, places where nature holds more power than people or things, drawing and writing, and being inspired all the while.
Understanding the universe and who we are….
Looking back I thought I knew something of the world. I thought I knew what love was, what suffering, sacrifice and compassion was. But that was only the arrogance of youth.
Now, it seems that all my words are written in sand…washed away by a tide of insecurity before the sun sets.
I realize that the world of grown ups can only be explored through money and time, not just courage and dreams…
And the universe and people? I realize that its truths are constantly changing.
